Key Responsibilities
- Conduct precise topographic, boundary, and construction surveys using total stations, GPS, and other surveying instruments.
- Perform calculations and data processing to convert field data into maps, drawings, and reports.
- Interpret and prepare survey data, including legal descriptions, easements, and property boundaries.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to provide accurate and timely survey information.
- Ensure all surveying activities comply with local regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Prepare detailed survey reports, cadastral maps, and as-built drawings.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and provide technical guidance during various project phases.
- Research historical survey records, land titles, and other relevant documents.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in using Total Station, GPS/GNSS, and other modern surveying equipment.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and calculations.
- Competency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation) for data processing and map creation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and legal descriptions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Valid UAE Driving License.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geomatics Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.
- Professional Land Surveyor license or relevant certification in the UAE.
- Experience with GIS software and data management.
