Key Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals, and solutions for practical lessons and experiments across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Assist teachers and students during practical sessions, ensuring proper usage of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, including regular cleaning of glassware, benches, and apparatus.
- Monitor and manage laboratory inventory, including chemicals, reagents, and equipment, and report needs for replenishment.
- Ensure all laboratory waste is disposed of safely and in accordance with environmental guidelines.
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure functionality and calibration.
- Assist in the development and modification of experimental procedures under the guidance of senior staff.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, equipment usage, and inventory.
- Provide first-line support for minor technical issues in the lab.
- Promote a culture of safety and responsibility among students and staff within the laboratory setting.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of scientific principles (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
