Key Responsibilities
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and research protocols.
- Perform routine laboratory tasks such as media preparation, sterilization, and equipment calibration.
- Assist senior scientists and researchers with experimental setup, execution, and sample analysis.
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks and digital systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies and reagents.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of lab equipment and report any malfunctions to senior staff.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in data recording and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
