Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions accurately and efficiently for various experiments and analyses.
- Operate and maintain standard laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, pH meters, spectrophotometers, and microscopes.
- Document experimental procedures, observations, and results meticulously in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
- Assist senior scientists and researchers with the setup and execution of complex experiments.
- Perform routine laboratory maintenance, including cleaning glassware, sterilizing equipment, and managing waste disposal.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory supplies and inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations, quality control standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Required Skills
- Strong foundational knowledge in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in experimental work.
- Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques and procedures.
