Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring they are calibrated, clean, and in good working order for daily operations.
- Execute experimental procedures and tests precisely under the guidance of senior scientists, meticulously following all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately record and document experimental data, detailed observations, and comprehensive results in official lab notebooks and designated electronic systems.
- Perform routine laboratory tasks efficiently, including media preparation, precise reagent formulation, accurate sample collection, and proper, safe disposal of waste materials.
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory of lab supplies, chemicals, and reagents, actively assisting with ordering and systematic stock management to prevent shortages.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety protocols, robust quality control measures, and relevant regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
- Assist in the initial analysis and interpretation of experimental data, contributing thoughtfully to preliminary report generation and summary documents.
- Actively participate in regular lab meetings, internal training sessions, and continuous professional development programs to enhance scientific knowledge and technical skills.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and highly efficient laboratory workspace at all times, fostering a productive and safe environment.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues independently and promptly report more complex or critical problems to senior staff for timely resolution.
