Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions accurately for experiments following established protocols.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment (e.g., pH meters, centrifuges, spectrophotometers) ensuring proper functionality.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses under supervision, carefully adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Meticulously record, organize, and document experimental data and observations in lab notebooks or electronic systems.
- Assist senior scientists and researchers with experimental setup, execution, and data collection.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, strictly following safety regulations and waste disposal procedures.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including tracking supplies and reagents, and notifying supervisors of replenishment needs.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related scientific field.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
