Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples, reagents, and media according to established protocols and precise specifications.
- Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, pH meters, and spectrophotometers, under guidance.
- Conduct basic experimental procedures and tests as directed by senior scientists and researchers.
- Record, organize, and analyze experimental data accurately and meticulously, maintaining detailed lab notebooks and digital records.
- Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety protocols, quality control standards, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies, ordering new materials, and tracking chemical usage.
- Perform general laboratory upkeep, including cleaning glassware, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, sharing observations and contributing to problem-solving discussions.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous learning opportunities to enhance technical skills and scientific knowledge.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and best practices.
