Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up laboratory experiments, reagents, and samples accurately.
- Perform routine laboratory tests, analyses, and procedures following established protocols.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate various laboratory equipment and instruments (e.g., pH meters, centrifuges, spectrophotometers).
- Record, organize, and analyze experimental data meticulously in laboratory notebooks and digital formats.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety protocols, quality control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist senior researchers and scientists with project tasks, data interpretation, and report preparation.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies, reagents, and consumables, and ensuring proper storage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace.
- Participate actively in team meetings, discussions, and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of lab equipment under supervision.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a closely related scientific field.
- Basic knowledge of general laboratory techniques and experimental procedures.
- Strong foundational understanding of laboratory safety practices and chemical handling.
- Proficiency in data collection, organization, and basic analysis using spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
