Key Responsibilities
- Execute routine laboratory experiments and procedures under supervision, accurately following established protocols.
- Prepare reagents, media, and solutions according to precise specifications and maintain inventory of lab supplies.
- Operate, calibrate, and perform basic maintenance on laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, pH meters, and spectrophotometers.
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks and electronic systems.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of experimental apparatus and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations, quality control procedures, and waste disposal guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with senior scientists and other team members to support ongoing research projects.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding experimental design and results.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of general laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
