Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory experiments and tests accurately and efficiently following established protocols.
- Prepare reagents, media, and samples for various experimental procedures.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and cleanliness.
- Record experimental data meticulously in lab notebooks and electronic systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist senior researchers in the setup and execution of complex experiments.
- Conduct literature reviews and gather relevant information to support ongoing research projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements in all lab activities.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies, and ensuring proper storage of chemicals and samples.
- Process and analyze data under supervision, preparing preliminary reports and summaries of findings.
- Contribute to the general upkeep and organization of the laboratory space.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, microscopy, solution preparation).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and experimental execution.
- Solid understanding of general scientific principles and laboratory safety protocols.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
