Key Responsibilities
- Washing and sterilizing dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and all kitchen utensils to the highest hygienic standards.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen floors, walls, and work surfaces throughout shifts.
- Assisting with the unpacking, inspection, and proper storage of food and supply deliveries.
- Regularly emptying bins and ensuring proper waste segregation and disposal in accordance with hotel policy.
- Supporting chefs with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and washing vegetables as instructed.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Operating and cleaning kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and waste disposal units, safely and efficiently.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, or hazards immediately to the kitchen supervisor.
