Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior waitstaff with setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after service.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations where appropriate.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously.
- Clear tables efficiently, ensuring dining areas remain clean and organized.
- Refill water glasses, manage condiment stations, and attend to guests' needs throughout their meal.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor complaints with professionalism, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining room and service areas.
- Support the entire restaurant team in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for all patrons.
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
- Learn and adapt to new service techniques and menu changes regularly.
