In this fully remote role, based in Dubai, you will be at the forefront of identifying, nurturing, and championing the next generation of musical talent within the vibrant global music industry. We are looking for an individual with an insatiable curiosity for new sounds, a keen ear for potential, and a proactive approach to networking and discovery.
As a Junior Talent Scout, you won’t just be listening to music; you’ll be actively immersed in the ecosystem that creates it. Your mission will be to scour digital platforms, local music scenes, social media, and industry events (both virtual and potentially in-person, as opportunities arise) to unearth artists across various genres who possess unique voices, compelling stories, and undeniable market appeal. This role demands a blend of analytical thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for artistry.
You’ll be instrumental in building a robust pipeline of potential talent, conducting initial outreach, and developing preliminary assessments of artists’ viability. This involves everything from reviewing demo submissions and live performance clips to analyzing social media engagement and understanding current music trends. Working independently, you’ll manage your own research and outreach strategies, reporting your findings and insights to a dedicated senior team.

Key Responsibilities
- Actively research and identify emerging musical artists and bands across various genres through online platforms, social media, industry publications, and virtual events.
- Conduct initial outreach to potential talent, establishing rapport and presenting Career.supersecrets' value proposition.
- Evaluate demo submissions, live performance footage, and digital presence to assess artistic potential and market viability.
- Maintain a detailed database of potential talent, tracking interactions, feedback, and development over time.
- Stay abreast of current music industry trends, artist development strategies, and market demands, especially within the MENA region and globally.
- Prepare insightful reports and presentations on discovered talent, including market analysis and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider talent acquisition team, sharing insights and best practices in a remote work environment.
- Represent Career.supersecrets professionally in all interactions with artists and industry professionals.
Required Skills
- Exceptional passion for music across diverse genres
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze emerging talent
- Proficiency in using social media platforms for research and networking

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (internship or volunteer) in A&R, talent management, music journalism, or related music industry roles
- Knowledge of digital audio workstations (DAWs) or music production basics
