Key Responsibilities
- Edit and refine audio tracks for clarity, consistency, and artistic intent across various musical genres.
- Perform noise reduction, de-clicking, de-humming, and other audio restoration tasks to achieve pristine sound quality.
- Synchronize audio with video or other visual media components as required for multimedia projects.
- Organize and manage audio assets, ensuring proper cataloging, version control, and archiving for easy retrieval.
- Implement feedback from senior editors, producers, and artists to achieve desired sound outcomes and artistic vision.
- Prepare high-quality audio files for mixing, mastering, and distribution across various digital and physical platforms.
- Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and cutting-edge audio editing techniques.
- Collaborate effectively with remote team members and external stakeholders using digital communication tools and project management software.
- Contribute to the creative process by suggesting sound design elements, audio effects, or structural improvements to tracks.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one major Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, or Cubase.
