Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated commercial premises regularly to maintain order and detect signs of intrusion, damage, or unauthorized presence.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, responding promptly to any suspicious activities or alerts.
- Control access to the building, verifying identification of visitors and employees, and maintaining accurate entry/exit logs.
- Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches according to established protocols.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and safety.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Collaborate with senior security personnel and management to enhance security measures and resolve issues.
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conduct routine checks of safety equipment and premises for potential hazards.
- Assist in emergency evacuations and crowd control when necessary.
Required Skills
- Minimum of SSCE/OND qualification.
- Basic knowledge of security operations and procedures.
- Excellent observation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6-12 months) in a security role, preferably in a commercial or corporate setting.
- Completion of a recognized security training program or certification.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification.
- Familiarity with CCTV monitoring systems and access control technologies.
