Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Laundry Manager in supervising daily laundry operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to hotel standards.
- Oversee the sorting, washing, drying, folding, and pressing of all hotel linen, towels, and guest garments.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of linen and laundry supplies, reporting discrepancies.
- Inspect finished laundry items for quality, ensuring they meet the hotel's stringent cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently, performing minor troubleshooting when necessary.
- Train and mentor junior laundry attendants on best practices, safety protocols, and proper equipment usage.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as hotel policies and procedures within the laundry department.
- Handle guest special requests and delicate items with care and precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the laundry area.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for laundry processes and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a hotel laundry or similar commercial laundry operation.
- Basic understanding of laundry equipment operation and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy laundry bags.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking.

- OND or HND in Hospitality Management or a related field.
