As a Junior Laundry Supervisor, you will be an integral part of the hotel’s back-of-house operations, directly contributing to the guest experience by upholding pristine conditions for all laundry items. You will work closely with the Housekeeping and Laundry management teams, learning the ropes of efficient laundry operations, inventory management, and quality control. This role offers hands-on experience in supervising a small team, managing daily tasks, and ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and pressing linens, towels, and uniforms.
- Ensure all laundry items meet the hotel’s strict quality and cleanliness standards before distribution.
- Monitor and manage laundry chemical usage, ensuring proper dosage and safe handling procedures.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records of linens and uniforms, reporting shortages or damage.
- Train and mentor junior laundry attendants on best practices, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Inspect laundry equipment regularly and report any maintenance needs promptly to ensure smooth operation.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines within the laundry facility.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet daily linen requirements.
- Handle guest laundry requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and accountability.

- Proven experience in a laundry or housekeeping department, preferably within a hotel setting.
