Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, and polishing surfaces in all designated areas of the estate.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens to a high standard, ensuring all fixtures and fittings are sparkling.
- Make beds, change linens, and ensure bedrooms are tidy and welcoming.
- Manage laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and organizing clothes and household textiles.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the estate manager when reordering is necessary.
- Assist with organizing and tidying various areas, including closets, cupboards, and common spaces.
- Follow specific cleaning protocols and schedules tailored to the estate's requirements.
- Report any maintenance issues or damage observed within the property.
- Adhere strictly to privacy and confidentiality policies regarding the residents and the estate.
- Support the senior housekeeper with special projects or deep cleaning tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (even if informal) in housekeeping or domestic services, preferably in a private residence or hospitality setting.
