Key Responsibilities
- Execute routine garden maintenance tasks including watering, weeding, mowing, trimming, and pruning shrubs and trees.
- Prepare soil beds for planting, and accurately plant new flowers, shrubs, and trees according to established design specifications.
- Actively monitor plant health, accurately identify common pests and diseases, and apply appropriate treatments under direct supervision.
- Maintain and inspect irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage and optimal plant hydration.
- Ensure all garden areas remain clean and tidy, regularly removing debris, fallen leaves, and general waste.
- Safely operate and meticulously maintain various gardening tools and equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and hand tools.
- Provide assistance with larger landscaping projects, encompassing both hardscaping (e.g., pathways) and softscaping (e.g., new garden beds) installations.
- Adhere strictly to instructions provided by senior gardeners or property managers to achieve desired garden aesthetics and upkeep standards.
- Contribute to the overall health, vitality, and visual appeal of residential gardens on a daily basis.
