Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers and site managers in supervising daily construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily site reports, progress logs, and other essential project documentation.
- Conduct quality control checks on materials, workmanship, and construction processes, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Help in the interpretation of blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for site personnel.
- Monitor site safety procedures and report any non-compliance or hazards to the site manager.
- Assist with material quantity take-offs, inventory management, and reconciliation on site.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers as directed by the site management team.
- Participate in site meetings, taking minutes and tracking action items.
- Support site surveying activities, setting out, and level checks.
- Perform data entry and manage digital project files efficiently.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (e.g., Construction Engineering, Building Technology).
- Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) for viewing and understanding drawings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
