Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using CAD software based on sketches, specifications, and calculations provided by engineers or architects.
- Review and revise drawings to reflect changes, modifications, or updates in project scope, ensuring all documentation is current and precise.
- Maintain drawing registers and drawing issue sheets, ensuring proper version control and distribution to relevant project stakeholders.
- Collaborate remotely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure drawing accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to industry standards, company policies, and best practices for drafting and design.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, material lists, and other related technical files.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new CAD technologies and drafting techniques to enhance efficiency and quality of work.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation).
- Strong understanding of drafting principles and technical drawing conventions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, sketches, and engineering drawings.
