Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and statements.
- Support the reconciliation of bank statements, ledgers, and other financial accounts.
- Aid in processing invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions.
- Learn and apply Sacco accounting policies and procedures.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries as required.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Maintain organized physical and electronic financial files.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data flow.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities.
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned by senior staff.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
