Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments promptly and accurately, adhering to company policies and deadlines.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations, verifying financial transactions and identifying discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit various financial reports as required by management, contributing to informed decision-making.
- Support the senior accounting team with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and ledger reconciliations.
- Manage petty cash, ensuring proper documentation, balancing, and adherence to established limits.
- Assist with the preparation of tax computations and filings, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Liaise professionally with clients and suppliers regarding payment queries, account statements, and discrepancies.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting department to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Actively participate in ongoing CPA K training and study sessions, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial information and company data.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices (e.g., debits, credits, general ledger).
