As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of critical IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring adherence to project management best practices and Capgemini methodologies.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress against baselines and proactively managing deviations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and escalating where appropriate.
- Effectively communicate project status, progress, challenges, and solutions to all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior leadership.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenditure, and ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, providing guidance, motivation, and support to project team members.
- Oversee the quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet required standards and client expectations.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather requirements, present solutions, and secure buy-in.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party contracts relevant to project delivery.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana).
- Solid experience with risk management, change management, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate project teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe).
- Experience working in a consulting environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) or specific enterprise applications.
