Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all IT systems, including networks, servers, cloud infrastructure, and endpoint devices.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of IT infrastructure and systems.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT services and hardware.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR).
- Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Provide strategic guidance on technology solutions to support business growth and innovation.
- Oversee IT support operations, ensuring high levels of user satisfaction and efficient issue resolution.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical IT systems.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in IT management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and virtualisation technologies.
- Demonstrated project management skills (Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
