Job Description
As the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and maintenance of our company’s IT infrastructure. This is a highly impactful role that requires a blend of technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all IT systems, providing support and guidance to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role demands a proactive individual who can anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions, ensuring our technology infrastructure remains robust and secure. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of networking, server administration, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies, and will be comfortable managing a team to deliver exceptional results. We are looking for a visionary leader who can contribute to the strategic growth of our IT department and lead the team towards technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure team, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data.
- Plan and execute IT projects, adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT infrastructure issues promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive IT documentation.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of IT systems.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience with network administration (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
- Proficiency in server administration (Windows Server, Linux)
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and security technologies
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with IT project management methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, or AWS.
- Experience with ITIL framework.
- Experience in a similar role for at least 5 years.
