Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the accurate receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing of goods and materials.
- Perform regular physical inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate stock records in the system.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overstock situations, reporting them to management.
- Prepare and process necessary documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments, including waybills, delivery notes, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate effectively with warehouse staff, transporters, and suppliers to ensure the timely and efficient loading, unloading, and movement of goods.
- Utilize inventory management software and other digital tools to update records, track product movement, and generate reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control standards within the warehouse environment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding inventory status, order fulfillment, and logistics queries.
- Assist in organizing, labelling, and maintaining a tidy, efficient, and well-managed warehouse space.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management and overall logistics processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to multitask.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Ability to work effectively and remain calm in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Prior experience (including internships or volunteer work) in a warehouse, inventory, or logistics setting is a significant advantage, though not strictly required.
- Familiarity with inventory management software, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, or data entry platforms.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to tasks.
