Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for international candidates regarding visa, immigration, and relocation queries.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on UK visa routes, sponsorship requirements, and application processes.
- Assist candidates in preparing, collating, and reviewing all necessary documentation for visa applications.
- Liaise with sponsoring employers, immigration legal partners, and government agencies as required to ensure compliance and smooth processing.
- Research and provide comprehensive guidance on suitable accommodation options in Inverness and surrounding areas.
- Offer practical advice on relocation logistics, including school registration, healthcare access, banking, and local services.
- Maintain comprehensive, confidential, and accurate candidate records and progress tracking.
- Stay informed of changes in UK immigration law and policy, updating internal procedures and candidate advice accordingly.
- Develop and update internal resources, guides, and FAQs for international candidates.
- Conduct pre-arrival briefings and post-arrival follow-ups to ensure candidate well-being and successful integration.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in UK immigration processes, particularly work visas (e.g., Skilled Worker Visa).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and cultural sensitivity.
- Outstanding organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail for document management and record-keeping.
- Ability to research complex information and translate it into clear, concise, and actionable advice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications

- OISC (Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner) Level 1 or 2 accreditation.
