We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Instructional Designer Assistant to join our remote team. As an Instructional Designer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Senior Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in translating complex information into clear, accessible, and interactive educational content. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE model) of e-learning modules, workshops, and other training materials.
- Support Senior Instructional Designers in storyboarding, scriptwriting, and content creation for various learning formats, including videos, interactive simulations, and job aids.
- Conduct thorough research on best practices in instructional design, adult learning theories, and emerging educational technologies to inform development.
- Proofread and meticulously edit learning content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and strict adherence to brand guidelines and style guides.
- Help manage, organize, and update learning content within our Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure accessibility and currency.
- Collaborate effectively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather necessary content, clarify complex information, and ensure the technical accuracy of materials.
- Contribute to the development of engaging multimedia elements, including graphics, simple animations, videos, and interactive exercises.
- Provide administrative support to the instructional design team, including scheduling, documentation, and project tracking, as needed.
- Participate actively in quality assurance reviews of learning materials prior to deployment, identifying and rectifying any issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of instructional design processes, project progress, and content revisions.
Required Skills
- Foundational understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for content creation and data management.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional proofreading abilities to ensure high-quality output.

- Prior experience working successfully in a remote or virtual team environment.
