Key Responsibilities
- Manage all daily operations of the inn, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Oversee guest relations, including check-ins, check-outs, special requests, and complaint resolution.
- Handle reservation management, online travel agent (OTA) portals, and direct booking systems.
- Supervise, train, and schedule support staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and common areas meet impeccable standards.
- Manage breakfast service, including menu planning, preparation, and presentation.
- Implement and uphold all health, safety, and operational policies and procedures.
- Oversee inventory, purchasing, and budget management to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Develop and execute local marketing strategies to attract new guests and encourage repeat business.
- Maintain the historic charm and aesthetic of the property.
- Provide local recommendations and concierge services to enhance guest experiences.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel, B&B, or hospitality management.
- Proven track record in guest service excellence and operational leadership.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a welcoming and approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and reservation software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Basic accounting and budgeting skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license.
