Job Description
Interswitch is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Somolu, Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating information security risks across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and systems. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of security projects, from initial assessment to implementation and ongoing monitoring. You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of our security policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to continuous learning. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Monitor security systems and alerts.
- Provide security awareness training to employees.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate security into software development lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain security documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools.
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems).
- Proficient in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with cloud security technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
