Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily monitoring and inspection of work areas to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Support the development and delivery of safety training sessions for employees, under supervision.
- Document and report safety incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, assisting in preliminary investigations.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incident reports.
- Help in the implementation of emergency response plans and participate in safety drills.
- Distribute and ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with departmental supervisors and employees to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Conduct safety orientations for new hires and visitors, ensuring they understand site-specific safety rules.
- Assist in maintaining safety equipment and supplies, ensuring they are readily available and in good working order.
