Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform routine quality checks on products and materials to ensure they meet specified standards.
- Load and unload materials and products from production lines, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
- Assist with machine setups, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and senior operators accurately.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks as required, such as cleaning and lubrication.
Required Skills
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills (ability to read instructions, perform simple calculations).
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 25 kg).
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays if required.
- Commitment to punctuality and attendance.
