Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of industrial machinery, production areas, floors, walls, and common facilities.
- Operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including industrial floor scrubbers, pressure washers, buffers, and vacuum cleaners (full training provided).
- Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures according to site-specific guidelines and environmental regulations.
- Ensure all cleaning chemicals are stored, handled, and used safely, strictly adhering to COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations (comprehensive training provided).
- Report any maintenance issues, potential hazards, or equipment malfunctions promptly to the supervisor.
- Adhere to strict health and safety protocols at all times, including the consistent wearing of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks completed and supplies used.
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies inventory, requesting new stock as needed to ensure continuous operations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily and weekly cleaning objectives efficiently.
- Conduct routine checks of facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are consistently met.
