Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Immersive Media Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of 3D modeling, animation, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR) technologies. You will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and immersive experiences for a variety of platforms, including mobile devices, websites, and VR/AR headsets. This role requires a collaborative spirit, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of digital experiences. You will work closely with other designers, developers, and project managers to bring innovative and impactful immersive media projects to life. Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine is a significant advantage. The role will involve conceiving, designing and executing projects from initial concept to final delivery. You will be responsible for the creation of high quality 3D assets, animation, user interfaces, and interactive experiences that are visually stunning and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop immersive media experiences for various platforms (VR, AR, MR, web, mobile)
- Create high-quality 3D models, animations, and textures
- Develop interactive user interfaces and experiences
- Collaborate with other designers, developers, and project managers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in immersive media
- Maintain project timelines and budgets
- Present design concepts and prototypes to clients and stakeholders
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Contribute to the overall improvement of our design processes
Required Skills
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Maya, 3ds Max, Blender)
- Experience with animation software (e.g., Maya, After Effects)
- Strong understanding of VR/AR/MR technologies and principles
- Experience with game engines (Unity or Unreal Engine preferred)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills
- Portfolio showcasing relevant work
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer graphics, animation, game design, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in immersive media design
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana)
- Experience working with clients and stakeholders
