Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers within Graaff-Reinet and its environs.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Accurately load, unload, and secure products, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage.
- Verify order accuracy against delivery manifests and obtain customer signatures.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and delivery schedules.
- Participate in route planning and optimization discussions at the depot.
- Complete necessary delivery paperwork, logs, and reports accurately and submit them daily.
- Assist with inventory organization and staging of products at the depot as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the delivery vehicle and designated depot areas.

Required Skills
- Valid Code 08 (B) or higher South African driver's license.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Proven ability to drive safely and confidently in various traffic conditions.
- Good physical stamina for lifting, carrying, and moving packages (up to 25kg).
- Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure timely deliveries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
- Basic literacy and numeracy for completing paperwork and verifying orders.
- Familiarity with using GPS devices or navigation apps.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional delivery driving experience.
- Knowledge of Graaff-Reinet and surrounding areas' road networks.
- Previous experience in a retail or logistics environment.
