Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Officer to join our growing team in Apo, Abuja. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, training and development, and HR policy implementation. This position requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. You will be involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a positive and productive work experience for all employees. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Manage employee relations, resolving conflicts and addressing employee concerns effectively.
  • Design and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
  • Support the HR Manager in the development and implementation of HR strategies.
  • Conduct performance management activities, including performance reviews and feedback sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a Human Resources role (minimum 2 years)
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian employment law and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
  • Membership of a relevant professional HR body (e.g., CIPM)
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Experience working in a multinational organization
