Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to join our dynamic HR team at Jollibee Foods Corporation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to a positive and productive employee experience. As an HR Officer, you will be instrumental in managing HR processes from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation. You will act as a key point of contact for employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters, and ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws and company policies. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the full cycle of recruitment, including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Facilitate new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth and welcoming integration into the company culture and processes.
- Administer and maintain accurate employee records and HR databases (e.g., 201 files, HRIS) with a strong focus on data privacy and integrity.
- Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, and procedures in a timely and professional manner.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and facilitating feedback mechanisms.
- Assist in the implementation of HR programs and initiatives related to employee engagement, training, and development.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and best practices in all HR operations.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics as required, providing insights to support decision-making.
- Coordinate closely with the payroll department for accurate and timely processing of employee compensation and benefits.
- Participate in employee relations activities, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, in coordination with senior HR staff and legal counsel when necessary.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a Human Resources generalist or officer role, preferably within a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Solid understanding of Philippine labor laws (e.g., DOLE regulations, Labor Code) and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under pressure.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the food service or retail industry, understanding its unique HR challenges.
- Exposure to talent acquisition strategies, employer branding, and recruitment marketing.
- Knowledge of various HR modules such as compensation and benefits, organizational development, or training and development.
- Experience using Workday or similar enterprise HR software for a large employee base.
