Job Description
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc seeks a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager with a CIPM certification to lead and manage all aspects of the HR function within our Agege, Lagos facility. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven leadership abilities to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, performance management, and ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations. The role demands a collaborative and communicative individual capable of working effectively with all levels of employees, from senior management to entry-level staff. A strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws and best practices in HR management is essential. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding.
- Manage employee relations, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Develop and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback to employees.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Manage HR records and data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare HR reports and presentations for senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective HR support.
Required Skills
- CIPM certification
- Proven experience in HR management (minimum 5 years)
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in HR software and systems
