Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HR Manager to join our dynamic team in Kuwait City. As an HR Manager at Alshaya Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our human capital strategy and ensuring the effective delivery of HR services across various business units. This position requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of managing all facets of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, HR policy development, and compliance with local labor laws. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding for various roles.
- Oversee and enhance performance management systems, including goal setting, appraisals, and development plans.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Kuwaiti labor laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness.
- Oversee HRIS management and leverage technology to improve HR processes and data analytics.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs for employees.
- Support organizational change initiatives and foster a positive corporate culture.
- Provide guidance and support to management on HR-related issues.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Kuwaiti labor law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM).
- Experience in the retail or hospitality industry.
- Experience working with a large-scale, multinational organization.
