Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including guest rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other facilities, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Execute thorough dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing of surfaces and floors.
- Make beds neatly and change linens according to established schedules and standards.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens, replenishing amenities and supplies as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and sorting items efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stocks are low.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and special cleaning requests as required.
- Ensure all work is carried out with minimal disruption to guests or residents.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness in all cleaning tasks.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong sense of reliability, punctuality, and responsibility.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills in English or Kinyarwanda to understand instructions and interact politely.
