Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all interior spaces, including living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens, ensuring all surfaces are dust-free, polished, and spotless.
- Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, and meticulous care of delicate fabrics and linens.
- Oversee the proper organization and upkeep of wardrobes, cupboards, and storage areas.
- Handle special cleaning tasks such as polishing silver, cleaning chandeliers, and maintaining antique furniture with appropriate products and techniques.
- Monitor and replenish household supplies, reporting any needs to the Estate Manager.
- Assist with meal preparation and serving, as required, and maintain kitchen cleanliness to professional standards.
- Maintain outdoor areas directly adjacent to the house, ensuring patios, balconies, and entryways are clean and welcoming.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or necessary repairs promptly.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols of the estate.
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of the household.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper in a high-end private residence or luxury hotel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining impeccable standards.
- Strong knowledge of various cleaning techniques and products suitable for different surfaces and materials.
- Proficiency in laundry care, including ironing, steaming, and stain removal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
