As a House Sitter, you will be the eyes and ears on the ground, providing peace of mind to homeowners by conducting regular checks, basic maintenance, and ensuring the general upkeep of their valuable assets. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security checks on the property, ensuring all access points are secure and reporting any anomalies immediately.
- Monitor the general condition of the house, identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or damage promptly to the designated contact.
- Perform light household duties such as watering plants, collecting mail, ensuring waste bins are managed, and maintaining general tidiness.
- Manage basic utilities (e.g., turning lights on/off, monitoring electricity/water usage as instructed by the property owner).
- Care for pets (if applicable and explicitly agreed upon, following clear and detailed instructions from the owner).
- Maintain open, clear, and timely communication with property owners or our management team regarding property status and any concerns.
- Ensure all appliances and systems (e.g., alarm systems, irrigation, pool pumps) are functioning correctly and as per schedule.
- Act as a primary point of contact for emergencies, coordinating with relevant services (e.g., security, plumbers, electricians) if necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all owner instructions and maintain the utmost discretion and confidentiality regarding the property and its contents.
Required Skills
- Proven reliability and trustworthiness with verifiable references
- Excellent observational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for reporting and updates
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks

- Basic knowledge of household maintenance and utility management
