We are seeking an exceptionally skilled, experienced, and dedicated House Manager/Butler to oversee the daily operations and long-term strategic management of a high-profile private residence in Dubai. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete management of the private residence, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and aesthetic appeal.
- Manage, train, and schedule household staff (e.g., housekeepers, chefs, drivers, gardeners), fostering a professional and harmonious working environment.
- Develop and manage household budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective procurement of supplies and services.
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors (e.g., maintenance, security, landscaping) for repairs, renovations, and ongoing services, ensuring quality and timely completion.
- Act as a personal butler, providing discreet and anticipatory service to the principals and their guests, including serving meals, managing wardrobes, and arranging travel.
- Manage household inventories, including fine wines, art, silver, and other valuable assets, ensuring proper care and record-keeping.
- Plan and execute private events, dinner parties, and social gatherings, including guest management, catering coordination, and post-event cleanup.
- Handle all administrative duties related to the household, including correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing personal errands.
- Ensure the security and privacy of the residence and its occupants at all times.
- Implement and maintain household policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Manage property logistics, including vehicle maintenance, utility services, and smart home systems.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in a similar House Manager, Butler, or Estate Manager role within a luxury private residence or 5-star hotel environment.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail and perfection.
- Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop household staff effectively.
- Strong financial acumen and extensive experience with budget creation and management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluent English (written and spoken).
- Discretion, loyalty, and the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality are paramount.
