Lotte Hotel Seoul is seeking a highly skilled and physically capable Security Officer to join our dedicated team, with a specific emphasis on a strong, authoritative presence, often described as a ‘Bouncer/Body Builder’ profile. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a highly visible and professional presence throughout the hotel premises to deter undesirable conduct and ensure a secure environment.
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas, including public spaces, guest floors, and back-of-house facilities, to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Monitor security cameras and surveillance equipment, responding promptly to any suspicious activities or incidents.
- Respond effectively and efficiently to all emergencies, alarms, and security breaches, following established protocols.
- Professionally de-escalate conflicts, disturbances, and challenging situations with tact and composure, prioritizing guest and staff safety.
- Assist guests and staff with security-related concerns, providing information, direction, and support as needed.
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures consistently and fairly, ensuring compliance by all guests and visitors.
- Collaborate closely with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other hotel departments during investigations or incidents.
- Complete detailed incident reports and daily logs, accurately documenting all security-related activities.
- Provide basic first aid or medical assistance when necessary, if certified, and coordinate with emergency medical services.
- Conduct security checks of access points and ensure the integrity of locks and security systems.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness and be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks if required.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in security, preferably within a luxury hospitality, entertainment, or high-end retail environment.
- Exceptional physical fitness, strength, and stamina, capable of maintaining a commanding presence and responding to physical demands.
- Strong observational skills and a keen eye for detail to identify potential security threats or unusual behavior.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven capacity for professional and respectful interaction.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under pressure and in high-stress situations.
- Thorough knowledge of security protocols, emergency procedures, and relevant legal regulations.
- Fluency in Korean is mandatory; working knowledge of English is highly advantageous.
- Possession of a valid security guard license or equivalent certification as per Korean regulations.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.

- Background or formal training in martial arts, self-defense, or professional physical training.
