We are actively seeking diligent and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeepers to join our esteemed hospitality partners in GRA, Ikeja. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and public areas (e.g., lobbies, hallways, restrooms, lounges) according to established standards and procedures.
- Change bed linens, towels, and restock guest room amenities as per hotel guidelines.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, and mirrors.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to the supervisory team promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes.
- Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of guests and hotel information.
- Assist with laundry duties as required.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting (up to 20kg), pushing, and standing for extended periods.
- Time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Basic communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
- Understanding of safety procedures and proper use of cleaning agents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience (1+ years) in a housekeeping or cleaning role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
