Job Description
As a Host/Hostess at Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences Corniche, you are the welcoming face and the first impression our guests receive. Your pivotal role ensures every guest’s dining experience begins and ends with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency. You will be responsible for warmly greeting all guests upon arrival, managing reservations, guiding them to their tables, and bidding them a fond farewell. This role requires an individual with exceptional interpersonal skills, a poised demeanor, and a genuine passion for hospitality. You will expertly manage seating arrangements, maintain a smooth flow of service, and anticipate guest needs to ensure their comfort and satisfaction from the moment they step into our esteemed restaurants. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon their arrival to the restaurant.
- Manage reservations systems efficiently, confirm bookings, and manage waitlists during peak times.
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and assist with initial seating.
- Maintain accurate records of table availability, special guest requests, and seating charts.
- Answer incoming calls professionally, provide information, and assist with reservation inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and reception area.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively assist with any inquiries or special requirements.
- Liaise effectively with the restaurant management, kitchen, and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed.
- Handle guest feedback and direct concerns to the appropriate management personnel.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
