Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including feeding, bathing, and dressing, while maintaining their dignity and privacy.
- Help patients with mobility, transferring them safely between beds, chairs, and assisting with walks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of patient rooms and ward areas, including making beds, tidying surroundings, and ensuring a hygienic environment.
- Monitor and report any observed changes in patient condition, behavior, or comfort levels to nursing staff promptly and accurately.
- Assist with the replenishment of ward supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage of equipment and materials.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, acting as a reassuring and empathetic presence.
- Adhere strictly to all infection control protocols, hospital policies, and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
