Job Description
The Hospital Administration Officer will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient operation of the hospital’s administrative functions. This position requires a highly organized individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative processes, coordinating with various departments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations. The role also involves interaction with patients, visitors, and staff at all levels, demanding exceptional diplomacy and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities
- Managing daily administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinating with various departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
- Assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations for hospital management.
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to strict data privacy regulations.
- Handling patient inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of hospital policies and procedures.
- Overseeing the administrative aspects of hospital events and meetings.
- Managing office supplies and equipment.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of administrative processes.

Preferred Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding procedures (advantageous)
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems (advantageous)
