Key Responsibilities
- Sort, inspect, and grade fresh horticultural produce (fruits and vegetables) according to quality standards.
- Accurately weigh, count, and package produce into various containers and packaging materials.
- Label packaged products correctly with essential information such as weight, date, and product specifications.
- Perform quality checks on packaged items to ensure consistency and adherence to company guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Operate basic packaging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving, storing, and dispatching packed produce.
- Report any quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the team leader or supervisor.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Required Skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
